Extreme gardening

A year ago I planted out the roof garden:



And at Christmas last year it was progressing nicely:



One year after planting, the garden is looking fantastic, if a little overgrown:







And required some high altitude gardening:




As far as we can work out, we've only lost a few of the 90 odd tubes I planted. The species we've used are:

Echeveria Elegans
Oscularia Deltoides
Sedum Pachyphyllum
Echeveria Violet Queen
Sedum Jelly Bean
Echeveria Glauca

By far the most successful on our exposed west facing roof is the Oscularia and we radically pruned it back to allow the other plants to thrive.
